In that assault, Ban lost those most precious to him and was trapped in an otherworldly dimension completely cut off from the present world. Sinking into the swamp of despair that fate had laid before him, he longed for death, yet the seething rage within him refused to allow it. Enduring the long span of 999 years, grinding his blade for revenge, Ban finally awakened the true destructive power hidden within the Asura emblem.
